Underrated K-Dramas Worth Binge Watching on Netflix


The craze for the Korean drama is continuously skyrocketing not just in Asia, but all over the world. With the growing number of fans from all over the world, we can't deny the fact it is becoming unstoppable. More people are appreciating more the genuine concept of Korean entertainment most especially in terms of the production of Korean dramas. Not to mention that some Korean dramas are being shown on the most popular streaming site called Netflix.

Being said that, here are some of the underrated K-dramas that are definitely worth watching!


Chicago Typewriter








The story revolves around writers that lived under Japanese rule in the 1930s. Then, later on, they are reincarnated into the present time. Starring Yoo Ah-in, Im Soo-Jung, and Go Kyung-Pyo.  Han Se Joo (Yoo Ah-in) who plays a bestselling writer who is in a slump, Yu Jin Oh (Go Kyung Pyo) who is a mysterious ghostwriter and Jeon Seol (Im Soo Jung) who is an anti-fan of the bestselling writer.


Tunnel


Starring Choi Jin Hyuk (Park Gwang Ho), Yoo Hyun Min (Kim Sun Jae), and Shin Jae Yi (Lee Yoo Young), these three try to catch the serial killer who has begun killings from 30 years ago up to the present time. Park Gwang Ho comes from the year 1986 and time travels in the year of 2017 which happens as he tries to catch the culprit when he goes through the tunnel. In the present time, Park Gwang Ho starts working with Detective Kim Sun Jae and Professor of Criminal Psychology Shin Jae-Yi to find who the real culprit is.

Signal 


This drama centers between Hae-Young (Lee Je-Hoon) works as a criminal profiler and is also a police lieutenant, a veteran detective Soo-Hyun (Kim Hye-Soo), and Detective Jae Han (Choi Jin Woong). The three main characters try to uncover and resolve the cold cases from the past.


Good Doctor 


This medical drama is starred by Joo Won and Joo Sang-Wook.
Park Shi-On (Joo Won) is a young man who is diagnosed with savant syndrome and a developmental disability. Despite his disability, he becomes a pediatric surgeon. Meanwhile, Kim Do-Han (Joo Sang-Wook), who is the best pediatric surgeon, finds himself frequently in confrontation with Park Shi-On.


Clean With Passion for Now


This drama is about between Jang Sun-Gyeol and Gil O-Sol. Jang Sun Gyeol has mysophobia (fear of germs). He runs a cleaning company where he meets Gil O-Sol. Unlike Jan Sun Gyeol, Gil O-sol does not mind getting dirty. Gil O-Sol helps Jang Sun-Gyeol overcomes his mysophobia.


Arthdal Chronicles


Starring Song Joong Ki, Jang Dong Gun, and Kim Ji Won, this drama is set in the fictional land of Arthdal during ancient times. The story is about Eun-Sum (Song Joong-Ki) was born with fate to bring disaster to Arthdal. Meanwhile, Ta-Gon (Jang Dong-Gun) is a war hero of Arthdal who dreams of becoming the first king of Arthdal. Then, Tan-Ya (Kim Ji-Won) was born with the same fate as Eun-Sum. She is the successor of the Wahan Tribe. She dreams of becoming a politician.


Black Night 


Black is a detective possessed by the Grim Reaper. Ha-Ram can see shadows of death. These two struggle to save the lives of people, breaking the rules of heaven.


Six Flying Dragons


This drama depicts the ambitions and success stories of 6 people with Lee Bang-Won as the central figure. He was the third king in the Joseon Dynasty. In addition, Lee Bang-Won was the one who helped his father King Taejo establish the Joseon Dynasty.


One Spring Night 


The drama revolves between Lee Jeong-In (Han Ji-Min) and Yu Ji-Ho (Jung Hae-In). Lee Jeong In works as a librarian. Meanwhile, Yu Ji Ho is a pharmacist and a single dad. As they cross paths, they fall in love with each other.


My Mister 


This drama depicts a man (Lee Sun-Kyun) who in his 40's and withstands the weight of life. Later on, he met a woman (IU) in her 20's goes through difficult experiences, but also withstands the weight of her life. They get together to help each other overcome difficulties.
