Eric Nam visits Manila as his second stop for his Southeast Asian leg tour 'Before We Begin' held this Friday, January 10 at the New Frontier Theater.
The singer-songwriter first came to Manila in 2018 to attend the Asian premiere of Aquaman at the MOA Arena. But it is a bit different this time around. This year 2020, he is meeting his Filipino fans for the first time and this is also his first time performing live on stage in Manila.
Eric Nam appeared on stage and started with his opening song "Come Through" in which fans sang along with him. After that, he performed and sang "Runaway". The fans became wild as Eric Nam continued to perform. After that singing two of his songs, he enthusiastically greeted Filipino fans. He told fans that he was thankful to them for coming through his concert tonight after everyone's school or work!
After talking with fans, he started singing his songs again such as "I Miss You", "Good For You", "This Is Not A Long Song", and "Stay With Me". He then interacted with fans and took some gifts from them. Eric Nam mentioned that he likes to eat Jollibee chicken joy. Also, he sang a "Happy Birthday" song for a lucky fan!
One of the highlights at the concert was when Filipino fans started singing "Pag-ibig Na Kaya" (Perhaps Love"). Eric Nam then sang the Korean version of Perhaps Love" as a response to his fans. Perhaps Love is one of the popular song covers of him. Eric Nam mentioned that this was one of the coolest things of the night!
Eric Nam continued to perform with more of his songs that made the crowd wilder. He also interacted with his fans a lot during the concert. Then, he asked fans to take a group photo with him.
"I had a blast Manila," Eric Nam told fans. He then wrapped up the show with two of his songs. After that, he thanked his Filipino fans a lot for coming to the show and assured fans that he would go back to Manila again soon!
